I am a graduate of Clemson Universities graphic communications management program. My first job after graduating from Clemson was working as a cartographer for a lake map company. It was here that I learned about and learned to love and appreciate maps. A few years later, after learning about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tI decided to take evening classes in order to earn a certificate in "Engineering Technology with a major in Geographic Information Systems" from Greenville Tech. Since then I have worked off an on as a map maker and have never lost that love of maps.
Following my work for two different map companies, I spent ten years working as a CAD draftsmen, construction manager, civil and environmental technician, and water/wastewater utility operator. During this time I earned the highest levels of certification in Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection, Biological Wastewater Treatment and Cross Connection Control. In 2014 I was able to bring my love and experience in cartography together with my knowledge and experience with water and wastewater utilities when I accepted a position as the GIS operator for the City of Seneca, SC. I also have a strong interest in India/Nepal & Honduras. Here is a pic of me at the Taj Mahal and another of me hugging an elephant!
